Mateusz Wasylewski is a neurobiologist, PhD student at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Jagiellonian University Medical College and a member of the Pain Research Group at the Institute of Psychology of the Jagiellonian University. Having finished postgraduate studies on organization, methodology and management of clinical trials, he worked as a specialist in the field of medical technology assessment, international healthcare system solutions and systematic reviews. During preparation of his master's thesis, he investigated development and treatment of neuropathic pain. He is currently conducting research on the impact of learning by observation on the perception of pain. He spends his free time playing guitar and riding a motorcycle.
